Biography Stash Rameios and the Band
Stash Rameios started playing guitar when he was about 7 years old. His first guitar was made out of a 5 litre oil gallon with the fret board that was off a damaged Acoustic guitar, modified to fit. At about 13 he received a real guitar as a gift from his Father .
Over the years he played for several
Bands. Mid eighties he played in a band
called the ‘Blue Flames’. Late eighties
he re-started the band called ‘Les Spinners’.
This went through it’s phases and
eventually ended in the early nineties. Then he decided to just play on his own
and collaborate with other musicians and not loose touch with music.
In the late Nineties he started a band and decided to call it “The Sultans”. He has followed the music of Santana, B.B King, Jimmy Hendricks, Beatles, Stones, Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, Shadows, Peter Frampton, Eagles, Seal, Lionel Ritchie, all the Motown music, and all the Big Names, and every thing else in between.
The band had the finesse of playing various
styles of music viz, Pop; Rock; Latino;
R&B/Hip Hop; African Styles; Blues; Afro Cuban, AfroFusion and others.
